Overnight Rooming
Due to us piggybacking this meeting with the PA Petroleum Association’s (already contracted) meeting to conduct the Emergency Planning Exercise, we were unable to secure our own block of overnight rooms due to no availability. The Petroleum Association was gracious enough to open their rooming block to us however I have been notified this block is now full. The hotel is unable to add any additional rooms to the block.
Below is a list of hotels showing availability on October 10. They are all within a reasonable driving distance to Hotel Hershey. You may click on the name of the hotel to be taken to their website where online reservations can be made or you are welcome to call the number provided. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience.

10am – 1:30pm PA Fuel Sector Mock Emergency Planning Exercise** (Garden Terrace Ballroom)
PAPGA, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Petroleum Association (PPA) is hosting a mock emergency planning exercise. The exercise will be facilitated by our state agency partners for the purpose of strengthening the Pennsylvania State Energy Security Plan (SESP). Other stakeholders who rely on the interdependency of liquid fuels throughout the Commonwealth will also participate in the exercise. We hope you can participate in the exercise which strengthens the important public-private partnership.
Operation Christmas Lights Out: Energy Emergency Exercise
It’s the festive holiday season and bitter cold has lingered in Pennsylvania and the Northeastern United States for the past several days. Dropping temperatures are predicted over the holiday while the electric grid operator is projecting record breaking usage. How will fuel companies provide for their customers as temperatures continue to drop? Join us as we delve into this mock scenario and try to prevent a Christmas Lights Out.
Who Should Attend
We want to ensure all segments of the industry are represented as a part of the exercise. Representation would include: Propane Marketers, Common Carriers, Fuel Wholesalers, Terminal Operators, Pipeline Operators, Refiners/Producers, and Alternative Fuel Stakeholders.
**To participate in the 10:00am Fuel Sector Mock Emergency Planning Exercise you must complete a separate registration (in addition to the PAPGA Membership Meeting Registration) and non-disclosure certification online by Clicking HERE.
2:00 pm Board of Directors Meeting (Blue Mountain Room)
