7 Pennsylvania Students Earn National Propane Scholarships

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Propane Gas Association (PAPGA) is proud to announce that 7 students from PAPGA-member families have been awarded scholarships through the National Propane Gas Foundation (NPGF). This milestone marks another strong year of investment in the next generation of leaders, technicians, and professionals tied to Pennsylvania’s propane industry.

“This list represents hardworking families and promising futures,” said PAPGA executive director Shelby Bell. “Every year, we’re impressed by the caliber of students coming from Pennsylvania’s propane community, and we’re extremely proud of all who were selected for various scholarships.”

2025 Scholarship Recipients:

Katherine Bolig, Bolig’s Propane, Millersburg – NPGF Fairway Endowed Scholarship

Gavin Dashner, Superior Plus Propane, Warren – NPGF Corporate Partners Endowed Scholarship

Ella Douris, AmeriGas Propane LP, Philadelphia – AmeriGas Scholarship

Alex Emick, Superior Plus Propane, Williamsport – Jerry and Susan Brick Scholarship

Samantha Freed, Penn Valley Gas, Telford – Ancient Gassers, Inc./BPN Scholarship

Daniella Haberstroh, Hiltz Propane Systems, Marietta – CHS Propane Scholarship

Chloe Michaels, AmeriGas Propane LP, King of Prussia – Robert Olsen Memorial Scholarship

Since 1995, the National Propane Gas Foundation Scholarship Fund has awarded nearly $2.73 million to almost 1,900 students nationwide.
